Title: Data As Currency
Scott Ensign, VP, Client Solutions at Butler/Till will be speaking about “Data as currency: How consumers are waking up to the value of their data and why marketers should care”.
Over the past couple of years, marketers have been understandably focused on the business implications of Europe’s General Data Protection Regulation, Apple’s Intelligent Tracking Prevention, California’s Consumer Privacy Act, and the most recent announcement from Google that they’ll be phasing out third-party cookies within two years.
But what does this mean for consumers? What attitudes are driving behavioral changes that marketers can be thinking about now?
Drawing on his extensive experience in the digital marketing space, Scott will talk through the consumer’s perspective in all of this change and offer thoughts on how brands can win through a relentless pursuit of user expectations.
